It’s not every day that the Super Bowl comes to town. In-fact the actual Super Bowl will never come to Palmdale California.
But for cycling fans in America the Amgen Tour of California is the Super Bowl. And last Friday Stage 6 of the Biggest Bike Race in America was in Palmdale!
I was asked to assist the crew of AVMedia and ilivetodayav with the finer points of the sport. I jumped at the chance.
I really had no idea what to ask these pro cycling folk…for at least one half of one second! I had a million questions!
I can hardly wait til next year!

We just finished another Springtacular at Mammoth Mountain here in California.
From April 23 through 26 about 60 special needs athletes; including my son Brian, joined the very talented instructors with Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra.
For these 4 days every one of these athletes skied and boarded to absolute maximum of their abilities. The crew at DSES is very good at finding the edges of performance. We have been doing this since Brian was 8. He is 26 now and these 4 days are the very best thing he is involved with.
These 4 days are absolutely the very best thing I am involved with.
For Brian and I, and the entire Turner Family…
